SALOMON – SOLLIA GTX

The Gore-Tex is a waterproof, breathable fabric film and a registered trademark of WL Gore and Associates. It was discovered in 1969 and can repel water, while at the same time allowing the passage of water vapor (to remove sweat and moisture). It is designed to be light and suitable for all weather conditions. It consists of rubber polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), which is better known by the generic brand Teflon. The stretch of this polymer forms a microporous material with over 9 million pores per square inch.
